  91.     PAKISTAN (10/29) Pakistan has  been  elected  to  serve  on the Security
  92.     Council of the United Nations. Pakistan  got 161 votes out of a possible
  93.     172. Pakistan's Foreign Minister told reporters that this would not have
  94.     been possible without the support  of  the Islamic countries in UN. Iran
  95.     and Indonesia which were also asking  for a seat on the Security Council
  96.     dropped their demand at the last moment in favor of Pakistan thus making
  97.     it possible for Pakistan to get elected.  The Pakistani Foreign Minister
  98.     also told reporters that the first  order  of business to be proposed by
  99.     Pakistan would be a proposal to the  UN to lift the arms embargo against
  100.     Bosnia. Most Muslim countries in  particular  Saudi Arabia, Iran, Turkey,
  101.     and Pakistan have already supported this stand in the past.
